Elite Program: Champions on and off the Mat
Our Elite Enshin Program is designed for committed athletes pursuing excellence in national and international competitions. Since 2021, our students have competed in regional tournaments across Colorado, earning accolades in Denver’s annual events, and in 2024, one student represented Crestone at an international competition in Fukuoka, Japan. These achievements showcase the power of rural youth when given opportunity and support.
Beyond competition, our elite athletes embody leadership. By fostering cross-cultural exchange with dojos and training spaces beyond Crestone, we help our youth—often isolated by geography and socioeconomic challenges—form friendships, gain diverse perspectives, and grow as leaders. With funding, we aim to make these opportunities accessible to all our students, ensuring no one is left behind due to distance or resources.
In the remote San Luis Valley, transportation is a barrier to opportunity.
